Deer Creek Behavioral Health Services aims to meet the needs of patients and their family members. We complete a full psychiatric assessment, examining your mental status and noting your psychological history, as well. We may use questionnaires or interview techniques to gather information about your mental health condition. Patients are evaluated through a holistic lens to ensure all aspects of their lives are considered, utilizing customized treatment and care planning strategies. Apart from comprehensive psychiatric assessment, we also facilitate medication evaluations and management in our care routine. These support services are across the lifespan, starting at ages 13 to 99.

It is our mission to be a primary source of support and care for all patients who need care and support for their psychological health. We are devoted to improving our patients' understanding of mental health along with the mind-body connection between mental and physical health.

Psychiatric Team

Silverus Kimeli

Silverus KimeliAPRN, AGNP-C, PMHNP-BC

Silverus Kimeli is a dual board certified as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and Adult-Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner. He received his first Bachelor’s degree in Biology from the University of Arkansas in 2003 and later received his Bachelor of Science in Nursing from The University of Oklahoma in 2006. He worked in several acute mental care units and critical care units prior to pursuing graduate studies. He received his Master of Science in Nursing in Adult-Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner from the University of Cincinnati in 2019 and a Certification in Psychiatric Mental Health (PMHNP) from Saginaw Valley State University in 2021.

He has been enlisted in the U.S. Army since 2014 and currently serving in the Kansas Army National Guard. He is an Army M1 Armor Crewman (MOS 19K) responsible for operating armored equipment.

Silverus has experience in treating mental health disorders such as depression, anxiety, ADHD, schizophrenia, bipolar, PTSD, Personality Disorders, and so on.
